With the use of 360 interactive photography and QR codes we aim to make home user guides information easier to access and use making this information more valuable to the end user. 

The existing norm of handing over a file of user manuals and information leaflets to the end user is a legal requirement. However, this is done for just that reason as opposed to being something useful to the end user and often gets thrown to one side and lost. When a problem arises, the end user often has no option other than to call out an engineer for assistance rather than have the confidence to fix a simple issue for themselves.

The future for building better home user guides

Our solution offers a paper free interactive guide which can be accessed via a QR code placed on a door or next to an appliance which will not get lost and is easy to find. 

When the QR code is scanned by the user, they will be able to see the appliance with the issue in the photo of their own home and bring up either the user manual, FAQ’s, fault codes, video guides or contact details for who to contact with the issue. The photographs also give the end user a view of what a consumer unit for example would look like under normal circumstances. You can also keep a copy of our tours in your office so when an end user calls for your assistance, you are able to talk through a fix without having to visit the site.
